Becoming a property guardian is a straightforward process, but there are a few requirements we ask of all our guardians prior to moving in to ensure we only place socially responsibly and reliable individuals who fully understand the responsibilities of caring for and maintaining empty properties.
We extensively vet and interview all of our property guardians to ensure we only accept reliable and responsible individuals who we can trust to take good care of the property they live in.
As well as meeting with us, prospective guardians will be required to provide the following documents:
• Proof of ID (valid passport or driving license)
• At least 12 months employment history
• Written references from previous landlord & employer
• Proof of income (at least 3 months bank statements or wage slips)
• Proof of current address (i.e. utility bill)
Property Guardians are not tenants; they sign a Licence Agreement, not a Tenancy Agreement.
We ask that all of our property guardians thoroughly read through their Licence Agreement to ensure they fully understand and accept the terms before they sign it.
