Job Vacancy - Bookkeeper / Controller

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time 
Location: Parsons Green, London 
Salary: £30,000 Pro Rata

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper seeking a challenging yet rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day finances of the company.

Your role will include:

  • Day to day financial control and management
  • Responsible for all accounts receivable and payable duties
  • Debtors and creditors control and management
  • Issuing client invoices and remittance advices
  • Preparation of financial reports for the man agent
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss
  • Cash flow
  • Cost control
  • Budged management
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation of company accounts for end of year reporting
  • Ensure operational deadlines are met
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Ensuring high levels of overall productivity and accuracy
  • Advise staff and external parties of any accounting policies and deal with queries


  • ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • 5+ years financial and management accounting experience
  • Proficient in using Sage 50 Accounts.
  • Highly Organised
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure
